The home we designed at 14 Ocean Course is being photographed by Brian Dressler Photography.  We are taking advantage of this gorgeous weather to document this home. Groh Moffly Contruction was the general contractor for his home and Tammy Connor was the Interior Designer.

Kiawah Client hosts Chamber Music Series

John and Eileen Sanders hosted several performances of the Charleston Chamber Music at the home we designed for them at 50 Kiawah Island Drive in the Settlement on Kiawah Island, SC.  They were generous enough to invite me to one of the performances.  What a great way to encourage beautiful music.IMG_5019

Today would be Eero Saarinen’s 104th Birthday

Eero Saarinen was born in Finland but practiced in the United States.  He worked on some of the most iconic mid-century structures such as the St. Louis Arch, Dulles Airport Terminal and pictured here the TWA terminal.  All of his designs used sweeping curved forms to create wonderful spaces.  These curves softened the hard edges of modernism while giving a timeless quality to his architecture.
