Happy birthday to Sharon Ritchey.  We were privileged to design a custom home in Walnut Cove near Asheville for Sharon and her spouse Julia.  It was a sloping site down to a stream in the rear with a wonderful mountain view from the front of the house.  Above the garage we placed a studio for Julia a encaustic artist.  It has a separate entrance so she could conduct classes.  A large arched window frames the mountain view from the Great Room and an arch over the covered rear deck overlooks the wooded slope.  Tyner Construction was the general contractor on the project and Terri Long did the landscape design they all did an amazing job.
